The post for our previous ballistic gelatin tests outlines all of the detailed specifics of our test protocol and explains both the value and limitations of gel testing. If you are unfamiliar with how these tests work, I highly recommend looking over that article before moving on to the results here. You will also be able to see the results of semi-auto loads that we tested covering popular self-defense ammo in. Before we get into the test results, I want to thank everyone for all of the encouraging feedback and suggestions on our previous tests. If you have found these tests helpful, I just ask that you consider shopping at LuckyGunner.

Earlier this week, we posted the results of our ballistic gelatin testing for 38 different self-defense loads in. You can see the full results in our fancy high-tech interactive charts at Lucky Gunner Labs. For the loads I mention below, I have provided links to their individual product pages where you can see the test results for that particular load. A slightly less succinct version of my commentary can be found in the video below, or keep reading for the unabridged edition.
